The ranking is compiled every three months by the British online search engine Lyst. To determine the most sought-after brands and products in the world of fashion, our own users’ search and purchasing behavior, social media activities and Internet searches are analyzed.
Congratulations! And as Miu Miu is currently in first place, it’s no surprise that a fashion piece from the brand is included in the Lyst ranking of “Hottest Products”. A gray cashmere cardigan with the Miu Miu logo is in second place among the most sought-after products in recent months (behind Maison Margiela’s Tabi Mary Jane shoes).

Apparently calm and reserved, but still very elegant and of high quality, the brand’s cardigan is in gray, an absolute trend. The plain knit piece has a short and narrow cut, has a subtle button placket and finely contrasting ribbed knit cuffs on the round neck, cuffs and hem. This means it embodies the quintessential modern grandma look.
Beautiful piece! Unfortunately, the elegant cashmere cardigan costs a whopping 1,250 euros. It’s also cheaper – we think. We took a look at C&A and I found a model* which looks as chic and elegant as the Miu Miu cardigan.
This C&A cardigan looks very elegant
It’s true that the cardigan we found in the C&A store doesn’t look much like the Miu Miu piece, but it’s at least as pretty.
The C&A cardigan is also fitted and short, but comes in a lighter shade of gray and has a V-neck. Unfortunately, we searched in vain for a comparable round-neck piece in the store. It doesn’t matter anyway. After all, the V-neck has a lengthening effect and makes us slimmer.
Instead of cashmere, the cardigan is made from very fine merino wool – which is, of course, reflected in the price. At 39.99 euros, the garment is a bargain, unlike the Miu Miu It-Piece.
If you can’t get used to the trendy gray color, you can also buy C&A’s merino wool cardigan in other colors. You can choose between dark blue, purple, dark green and black.
The cardigan can be styled in many ways
A gray knitted cardigan*matches many different styles. As a simple basic you can combine it with jeans and trousers as well as skirts and dresses.
With jeans, sneakers and a pilot jacket you can create a look with a sporty and casual touch. A stylish office look is created in combination with a fitted dress and boots. When buttoned, the piece always looks more elegant and rigorous than when left open – for example, when mixed with a basic white shirt.
