On Thursday night (Nov. 16), you would have thought Hollywood had arrived in Munich. The who’s who of the German film and celebrity scene came to the Bavaria Filmstadt grounds and celebrated the Bambi awards – of course, there was no shortage of glamorous appearances on the red carpet and posing for photographers.
Flashy and eye-catching at Bambi 2023: designer Oliver Rauh takes a closer look
Although things in the ballroom were emotional, political and at times a little rowdy, the celebrity guests showed true star qualities when they arrived. Who else managed to shine among the VIPs and who needs help when styling? Oliver Rauh, fashion designer, influencer and the only “Bavarian Gentleman,” took an up-close look at AZ.

Actress Uschi Glas appeared at Bambi 2023 in a sparkling blue sequin dress, while her husband Dieter Herrmann opted for a classic tuxedo. “Uschi simply shines”, praises Oliver Rauh, who has worked with international stars such as Lady Gaga. But he still has a small criticism: “Beautiful dress, but I would have thought it even better without the little black details. But other than that, just a great lady.”

Wow, appearance by Elyas M’Barek and his wife Jessica: “This is what modern glamor looks like”
Elyas M’Barek and his Jessica apparently did everything right when it came to styling. The actor, like most of the men of the night, opted for a black tuxedo, his wife took a little more risk with the gold leopard print dress – according to “Bavarian Gent” it was worth it: “What can I say, the two they could also be on the Oscars red carpet. Michael Patrick Kelly defied the Bambi dress code
Michael Patrick Kelly caused a faux pas on the red carpet. The musician and former member of the “Kelly Family” appeared in a jacket with a black and white striped sweater and, despite the dress code, he did not wear a tie or bow tie. There are reviews from Oliver Rauh: “For me it’s more of a stage look and it’s really great. With ‘Black Tie’ the bow tie is simply part of the look. Dress codes are always a desire of the host. On the other hand, he proves this. Courage for individuality, which always deserves respect.”
